Corbin Christian

General Manager, Hubstarr Logistics

As General Manager at HubStarr Logistics, Corbin Christian brings more than 14 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, and supply chain management. Having grown up around the industry, Corbin’s fascination with how things move and operate began early—while other kids played with toy trucks, he was learning the real thing. That curiosity evolved into a career built on hard work and hands-on experience, taking him through roles at Total Solutions and Expeditors before joining HubStarr in 2020.

Corbin has built a reputation for his ability to turn vision into reality. One of his proudest achievements was transforming an empty warehouse into a fully functional, organized facility—a testament to his leadership and operational expertise. He’s passionate about process improvement and thrives on finding practical, efficient solutions to complex logistical challenges. His approach combines analytical thinking with a people-first mindset, ensuring that both clients and teams succeed together.

Born and raised in Phoenix, Corbin is as dedicated off the job as he is on it. When he’s not optimizing operations, you can usually find him on the golf course or spending quality time with family. His focus, integrity, and enthusiasm for continuous improvement make him an essential part of HubStarr’s leadership team—and a driving force behind its ongoing growth.

José Martinez

IT Director, HubStarr Logistics

As IT Director for HubStarr Logistics, José Martinez leads the company’s technology strategy with a focus on building smart, scalable systems that make operations simpler and teams more effective. From automation and custom applications to network security and system integrations, José ensures that HubStarr’s technology infrastructure supports growth, efficiency, and innovation. His team operates by a clear guiding principle — “Learn the process before building out any automation.” This mindset reflects José’s belief that the best tech solutions start with people. By working side-by-side with end users, he ensures every system is practical, reliable, and tailored to real-world needs.

With a strong background in logistics technology and infrastructure design, José bridges the gap between technical complexity and operational clarity. His ability to transform challenges into user-friendly, efficient solutions has streamlined processes across HubStarr’s growing network and helped position the company at the forefront of logistics innovation.

Outside of work, José is driven by the same curiosity that fuels his professional life. He enjoys experimenting with servers, developing new tools, and finding creative ways to improve everyday systems. When he’s not exploring new tech ideas, he’s relaxing at home with his two cats. Guided by a passion for continuous learning and practical problem-solving, José embodies HubStarr’s forward-thinking, people-powered approach to progress.

Ruben Urias

Senior Compliance Manager, HubStarr Logistics

With more than 35 years of logistics and supply chain experience, Ruben Urias brings a lifetime of operational expertise and leadership to HubStarr Logistics. As Senior Compliance Manager, he ensures the company stays aligned with all laws, regulations, and internal standards—developing programs, conducting audits, and guiding teams to operate efficiently and responsibly. Before joining HubStarr, Ruben served as General Manager at Total Solutions and spent over two decades at Honeywell International overseeing the movement and storage of aircraft parts, materials, and equipment. His hands-on experience across every level of logistics has made him a trusted expert in compliance, safety, and performance optimization.

Ruben thrives on analyzing data and mastering KPIs like cost, lead times, and inventory turnover, but he believes true success comes from people, not spreadsheets. His leadership philosophy centers on communication, recognition, and creating a culture of ownership—values that align perfectly with HubStarr’s mission-driven team environment.

Outside the warehouse, Ruben’s competitive spirit still shines through. A former three-sport varsity athlete and member of the “1,000 Mile Club” after running 10 miles a day for 100 straight days, he now channels that same drive into golf—where, by his own admission, consistency remains a work in progress.

Roger Molieri

Director of Transportation, HubStarr Logistics

With more than 30 years in the transportation and logistics industry, Roger Molieri brings a wealth of experience and a passion for people to his role as Director of Transportation at HubStarr Logistics. He manages local truckload and LTL deliveries and pickups, ensuring every shipment meets the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and DOT compliance. Roger’s career began in the early ’90s with CF Airfreight and continued through industry mergers with Emery Worldwide and UPS Supply Chain, where he held roles ranging from driver and dockman to manager, sales leader, and business owner.

Roger thrives on the fast-paced, problem-solving nature of logistics and takes pride in finding creative solutions to complex challenges. For him, success is not only about performance metrics—it’s about relationships. The respect, trust, and friendship he’s earned from peers and customers alike are what he values most. Guided by honesty, integrity, and a deep commitment to teamwork, Roger embodies HubStarr’s culture of reliability and service.

Originally from California, Roger moved to Arizona in 1997, where he and his wife Rosanna—his partner of over 42 years—enjoy a life rooted in faith, family, and community. They spend their free time traveling, volunteering with various ministries, and cheering on their favorite teams as Arizona Diamondbacks season ticket holders. A lover of baseball, college football, and quality time with their grandchildren, Roger lives by his personal motto: Faith, family, and friends—and a favorite quote that guides his life, “At every moment, do what love requires.”

Renee Brown

AP/AR Manager & Payroll, HubStarr Logistics

Born and raised in Phoenix, Renee Brown has been surrounded by the world of logistics her entire life. She officially began her career in 2003 with an air freight company, where she learned the ins and outs of customer service and operations. A few years later, she joined Phil Starr’s company and quickly became a go-to team member, taking on everything from billing and dispatching to office management, event planning, and even restocking the vending machines. Her reliability and can-do attitude made her an invaluable part of every team she’s been on — long before HubStarr even existed.

When Phil launched HubStarr Logistics, Renee was right there beside him as the company’s second official employee. Over the years, she’s done a little bit of everything — customer service, warehouse support, payroll, and even the occasional cleanup duty — always with a smile and a sense of ownership that defines HubStarr’s culture. Today, she manages Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll, ensuring accuracy and organization in every corner of the business.

Renee takes pride in seeing how far HubStarr has come and in knowing she’s been part of that journey since day one. Her dedication, attention to detail, and sense of teamwork make her a cornerstone of the company’s success — and she’s just as excited as anyone to see where the road ahead leads.

Jamie Begaye

Operations Manager & Partner, HubStarr Logistics

Born and raised in Flagstaff, Arizona, Jamie Begaye found his passion for logistics early—starting his career in a warehouse at just 17 years old. A year later, he moved to Phoenix to expand his opportunities, gaining hands-on experience with respected companies like UPS, Bashas’ Distribution Center, and Mach 1 Air. Those formative years taught him the ins and outs of warehouse operations, transportation, and customer service, laying the groundwork for a career built on dependability and drive.

In 2007, Jamie joined Phil Starr’s company, Total Solutions, as a dispatcher, where he managed drivers, assisted with warehouse operations, and often jumped behind the wheel himself to keep things moving. He remained a key part of the team through the company’s sale in 2018, earning a reputation for his work ethic and leadership. When HubStarr Logistics was founded, Jamie was there from day one, helping to build the company from the ground up.

Today, as Operations Manager and a partner at HubStarr, Jamie brings decades of hands-on experience to the daily challenges of running a fast-paced logistics operation. He’s proud of how far the company has come—and even more excited for where it’s headed. Guided by a belief that hard work truly pays off, Jamie continues to play a central role in HubStarr’s growth and success.

Kaesie Carroll

ASM Account Supervisor, HubStarr Logistics

As ASM Account Supervisor, Kaesie Carroll brings both heart and precision to the fast-paced world of logistics. With five years of experience in the industry, she has developed a reputation for organization, teamwork, and dedication to seeing projects through from start to finish. Before joining HubStarr Logistics, Kaesie served as Warehouse Coordinator and Certified Forklift Trainer for the Phoenix Rescue Mission Food Bank, where she managed large corporate donations and led community outreach initiatives including Turkey Drives, Back-to-School events, and Christmas toy donations. That experience strengthened her ability to coordinate complex operations while keeping people and purpose at the center of it all.

At HubStarr, Kaesie approaches every client relationship with a focus on listening, collaboration, and results. She thrives on building strong teams through open communication and a supportive environment, ensuring that both customers and coworkers feel valued and heard. Her leadership style reflects her belief that success in logistics comes not just from systems and schedules—but from people working together toward a shared goal.

A Scottsdale native who now splits her time between Phoenix and Blythe, California, Kaesie finds balance outside of work through faith and service. A lifelong singer in her church choir, she’s also traveled to Poland, Haiti, Mexico, and Los Angeles to volunteer in orphanages and build homes with Habitat for Humanity. Guided by her favorite verse, Ephesians 3:18, she believes in embracing the full dimensions of love and purpose—both in life and in her work at HubStarr.

Isaac Diaz Salcedo

Operations Manager – North Building,
HubStarr Logistics

As Operations Manager for HubStarr Logistics’ North Building, Isaac Diaz Salcedo leads with energy, organization, and a strong focus on team development. Each day begins with his 8 a.m. meeting — where he reviews daily activities, discusses new processes, and provides ongoing training to ensure the team stays sharp and aligned. From coordinating labor and overseeing multiple accounts to ensuring that every report, order, and urgent request is handled with precision, Isaac takes pride in creating structure, accountability, and results. His hands-on approach and commitment to continuous learning make him an integral part of HubStarr’s operations leadership.

Isaac’s path to logistics began unexpectedly. He started in the food industry with Burger King at just 16 years old, where his dedication and leadership earned him the distinction of becoming the youngest Store Manager — and a Certified Proctor — by age 19. His career took a new direction when a friend introduced him to SSF Imported Auto Parts, a wholesale distributor for luxury car brands like BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Jaguar. Rising quickly from picker to assistant manager, he helped launch new warehouses in Georgia and Florida. Later, he also became a licensed life insurance agent with Primerica, helping families protect their futures — a reflection of his belief in service and personal growth.

Born in Mexico City and raised in Arizona, Isaac brings a deep sense of faith, family, and gratitude to everything he does. Outside of work, he loves exploring nature with his wife, two children, and their two Boxer dogs. A talented musician, he plays piano, guitar, bass, and drums, often sharing his passion for music at his local Christian church. Guided by the Bible and a philosophy of always giving your best, helping others, and treating everyone with respect, Isaac embodies the spirit of HubStarr’s people-first culture.

Lori Christie

Human Resources Manager & Insurance Specialist, HubStarr Logistics

With over a decade in logistics and a career that spans banking, hospitality, and warehousing, Lori Christie brings a rare mix of people skills, experience, and heart to her role as Human Resources Manager and Insurance Specialist at HubStarr Logistics. Lori’s professional journey began right after high school in the banking industry, where she earned her AA in accounting and—after six bank robberies—decided it was time for a change. She went on to manage HR and training for several well-known restaurant brands, including The Good Egg, The Eggery, and Einstein’s, before entering the logistics world in 2011.

At HubStarr, Lori’s leadership is grounded in empathy, listening, and understanding that every employee and every situation is unique. She’s walked in their shoes—literally—having started her own logistics career on the warehouse floor as a packer, picker, QA associate, and inventory specialist. That hands-on experience gives her a deep appreciation for the people who make the operation run. Her guiding philosophy is simple: be approachable, build trust, and help others succeed.

A Scottsdale native now living in Glendale, Lori comes from a family that has owned Italian restaurants in the Valley since the 1970s. Outside of work, she’s happiest traveling to beach destinations, playing golf wherever she goes, and spending time with her grandchildren, TJ and Aurora. A former competitive diver who once won gold and bronze at the Junior Olympics, Lori still brings that same focus and determination to everything she does. Her favorite advice to newcomers sums it up best: “Learn every job you can—even the ones you don’t like. One day, it’ll all come in handy.”

Paul Soucek

Vice President of Sales & Marketing,
Co-Founder, HubStarr Logistics

As Vice President of Sales and Marketing — and co-founder of HubStarr Logistics — Paul Soucek combines decades of industry experience with a true passion for people and storytelling. He began his career in warehousing and logistics while still in high school, working at NavPress, a publishing and distribution company in Colorado Springs, Colorado. After moving to Arizona in 1993, Paul joined Carlson Systems, specializing in end-of-line packaging systems and consumables. In 2002, he co-founded AMW Packaging, where he first partnered with Phil Starr of Total Solutions — a relationship that would eventually lead to the creation of HubStarr.

Paul’s career has always been defined by a hands-on, customer-first approach. From his early days picking and loading orders to overseeing multimillion-dollar client partnerships, he’s built his reputation on the belief that great service doesn’t have operating hours — it’s a 24/7 commitment. Today, Paul leads HubStarr’s sales strategy and marketing initiatives, including the company’s rebrand, website relaunch, and new divisions like the bonded warehouse and HubStarr Exotics. For him, the greatest reward isn’t the growth numbers — it’s seeing a team of people who show up every day to make a difference.

Originally from Colorado Springs, Paul now lives in Peoria, Arizona, with his wife and their two dogs. A 1st-degree black belt in Kajukembo and certified instructor of Krav Maga, he brings the same discipline and curiosity to life that he does to business. Outside the office, Paul enjoys traveling the world, exploring new cultures, and working on his golf game — which, as he jokes, remains “a continual work in progress.” Guided by his favorite quote, “Be curious, not judgmental” — Ted Lasso — Paul continues to shape HubStarr’s growth with equal parts grit, curiosity, and heart.

Phil Starr

Chief Executive Officer, HubStarr Logistics

Phil Starr’s journey through the logistics world is one of hard work, hands-on experience, and entrepreneurial vision. He began his career in 1985 with Airborne, later joining Emery Worldwide, where he started quite literally from the ground up—loading trucks, containers, and learning to operate and drive an 18-wheeler. Those early years gave Phil an invaluable, boots-on-the-ground understanding of the industry’s inner workings and the people who keep it moving.

By 2003, Phil shifted gears into sales and quickly rose to the top, becoming Emery Worldwide’s leading regional representative and managing major accounts including Honeywell, Avnet, and Arrow Electronics. His ability to build relationships and deliver results paved the way for his next chapter as a business owner. In 2005, he founded his first company, successfully growing and selling it before taking a brief retirement.

Never one to sit still for long, Phil returned to his passion in logistics, launching HubStarr Logistics. Today, he leads the company with the same grit, optimism, and hands-on mindset that defined his early career—proving that the best leaders are the ones who have done the work themselves.
